Report: Russia certifies new iPhone 7, Apple Watches

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Russia has certified Apple’s new smartphones, smartwatches and wireless headphones, Hi-Tech Mail.Ru, a news portal of Internet giant Mail.Ru Group, said in a statement seen by PRIME on Wednesday, citing the Eurasian Economic Commission’s portal.

The certification shows two modifications of the iPhone 7 instead of three earlier expected. The smartphones will run on the iOS 10 operating system. Apple certified three new models of the Apple Watch on the watch OS2 system.

The U.S. giant will unveil its new devices on September 7.
